Account Executive

Quinlan, a digitally-focused advertising agency located in Amherst, New York, is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as an account executive. The account executive reports to the account director and is responsible for the support and service of clients and the account service department. This is a full-time, salaried position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from inception to completion. This includes budget determination, project schedule creation, resource management, risk identification and approval supervision.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients and internal teams to ensure projects meet objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Work closely with media, creative and production teams from concept through execution to ensure campaign goals are met on time and within budget.
  • Gather and organize client and competitive information as needed.
  • Foster a good work relationship with clients, either through direct contact or in support of clients’ needs.
  • Remain current on all aspects of marketing trends and other areas that affect clients’ businesses.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, a concentration in marketing or business is preferred
  • 1-4 years of experience in an advertising agency or marketing role
  • Experience with digital media, websites, video, SEO and inbound marketing is preferred
  • Driven, energetic and goal oriented
  • Detail oriented and able to problem solve under pressure
  • Comfortable leading client meetings and presentations
  • Proficient in all MS Office programs
