Three decades ago, Sahlen's hot dogs were fighting for their local market share. We recognized that their product was great; consumers only needed one taste to know that. But how could we get them to take the first bite?
What began as a simple grassroots strategy – free hot dog giveaways on the radio and at local sponsorship events – quickly evolved into major sponsorship deals, packaging updates, brand campaigns, and the expansion of their deli line.
Sahlen's became a culinary cornerstone of Western New York. Their products are now sold and savored in 30 states.
