Meet the Team: Kristin Sullivan


I’m Kristin, the newest and youngest member of the Quinlan team. I’ve recently joined the company as an inbound marketing strategist, where I’ll be responsible for the development and management of digital content.

I attended St. Bonaventure University, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Journalism/Communications and my master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. I also had the privilege of playing Division I softball for the Bonnies and loved my four years spent as a student-athlete.


Currently, I live in Lancaster N.Y., and I am a huge Buffalo sports fanatic. I love the dedication and energy from our fans and I enjoy being a part of it (no matter how many losing seasons the Bills have).

I’ve also been an athlete for the majority of my life, so I love to stay as active as I can. To me, one of the best parts about living in Western New York is having four distinct seasons—so I love getting to hike, camp and swim in the summer, while also getting to bundle up, ski and fully enjoy the winter.

Prior to Quinlan, I was on the digital marketing team at LocalEdge, a Hearst multimedia services company offering solutions for businesses worldwide. Here, I gained experience managing digital campaigns across several platforms and really developed my passion for marketing and inbound strategy. I manage my own personal blog in my down time and I’ve grown to love the social and digital world.

At Quinlan, I’ll be working on accounts for Sahlen’s, Uncle Bob’s Storage, Apple Rubber Products and Trocaire College. I will be managing and analyzing several platforms including web content, blog posts, SEO and social media.

I couldn’t be more excited for my new adventure and I’m ready to accomplish great things with the Quinlan team.

Quinlan wins four Telly awards for Northwest, Uncle Bob’s work


Some more good news for the agency came in the mail this past week — Quinlan and Company is the recipient of four 2014 Bronze Telly Awards.

Now in its 35th year, the Telly Awards are recognized as one of the advertising industry’s top prizes for local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, video and film productions, and web commercials, videos and films. Based on scoring, winners receive either silver- or bronze-level recognition. Between 18 and 25 percent of the over 55,000 annual entries are recognized.

Three of our television commercials for Northwest Savings Bank’s spring MyNorthwest campaign — “What’s That Rattling Noise,” “Pet Store Predicament,” and “Home Improvement” — earned trophies, as did our web video for Uncle Bob’s Self Storage space estimator app.

The Northwest spots were the brainchildren of Quinlan’s digital creative director, Frank Conjerti; copywriter Ben Kirst; and account executive Dan Bartlo. Cinematographer Chris Santucci directed the commercials. John  Takacs and Daily Post were responsible for video production. Conjerti performed post-production in-house.

The web video for Uncle Bob’s Self Storage was produced in 2013 to promote a space estimation tool designed for customers making decisions about storage.

Conjerti explained the process:

The video was created by first shooting a live actress on a green screen and creating her home, storage unit and all items using Maxon Cinema 4D and VideoCopilot’s Element 3D. Advanced camera tracking and compositing was done in Adobe After Effects, while the final edit and color correction was produced in Adobe Premiere Pro.

The space estimator video also won two awards at the annual Advertising Club of Buffalo ADDYs in March.
