Media Planner/Buyer

Quinlan is a 31-year-old agency and, like most 31-year-olds, we refuse to lose touch with our youth. We’ve embraced the digital revolution with both arms, building award-winning in-house video, content and development teams. We help our clients through their own digital transformations and turn their dreams into smart, measurable campaigns that create conversions (and sales, of course).

We’re currently seeking an experienced Media Planner/Buyer that possesses digital skills and a desire to learn. Responsibilities would include managing our depth of social advertising campaigns across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and more for our B2B and B2C clients; developing strategic media plans for our B2B clients; and entering and executing all orders and campaign billing (just to name a few).

Our ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • An extensive understanding of social media advertising capabilities, planning methodology and an ability to analyze campaigns.
  • Experience in digital media planning, buying and reporting.
  • A strong background and in-depth understanding of media research, planning, negotiation, buying and campaign execution.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with media representatives.
  • B2B planning and buying experience.
  • Ability to analyze media performance and develop insights and reporting that provides value to our clients.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in set up and management of paid search campaigns.
  • Experience in traditional media including television, radio, print and OOH within local/regional campaigns.
  • Experience with Strata and any self-service digital.
  • Self-service management of digital media campaigns.

Additional requirements

  • At least 2-4 years of field experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, detail oriented nature and solution-focused personality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Participation in continuous improvement, education and training. A love of learning is a necessity for success in this role.
