Erie County SPCA is a private humane society funded by donations, providing a caring and kind community that encourages fair and humane treatment of all creatures.

The Erie County SPCA helps to rescue and shelter animals in need, provides placement of animals into appropriate homes, and educates adults and children.

Opened in 1867, the Erie County SPCA is the second oldest humane society in the country, and cares for approximately 15,000 animals each year through programs such as adoptions, admissions, animal rescues, emergency transports, stray lost and found services, animal cruelty investigations, and more.

The Erie County SPCA has a large shelter in Tonawanda at 205 Ensminger Road, and also operates several off-site adoption agencies, as well as a mobile adoption unit, “Whisker Wag’n,” taking animal adoptions on the road to all parts of Erie County and beyond.

Computers for Children, Inc. repairs and refurbishes donated computers to give to schools, increasing students’ access to current technology.

Computers for Children, Inc. improves the student to computer radio, helping to prepare students for higher education and career opportunities by giving them access to computers where they may not have the opportunity to learn at home.

Any K-12 school in Western New York is eligible to apply for free computer equipment through the organization, and all donations to Computers for Children, Inc. are tax deductible.

Computers for Children, Inc. was founded in 1977 and is located at 701 Seneca Street, Suite 601 in Buffalo.
